Come and study towards a BTEC Level 3 in Circus and Perfoming Arts, concentrating on the business side of the career too.

BTEC

Showtime Circus offer a unique timetable of lessons mixing dance, circus and fitness to make sure that you are given the best possible knowledge, strength and foundation to pursue a career in Performing Arts. At the end of this education programme it will enable you to audition for the circus, for cabaret contracts or to go on to higher education. As an evolving industry, more and more directors and choreographers are looking to hire artists who can not only dance, but also deliver high quality circus acts.

As part of this specialist BTEC level 3 qualification, learners will have a true vocational and professional learning experience by working, training and performing alongside professional artists throughout the programme. There will be performance opportunities at least once a month, ensuring that every participant leaves with at least one performance ready act in their discipline of choice. There will be a chance to perform abroad in a cabaret show and to gain experience teaching whilst learning too.

All of our teachers are successful circus artists in their own right, and the majority trained in dance and musical theatre before going into circus so know both industries very well. With teachers who also teach at other TOP Circus and Performing Arts Colleges, who are internationally renowned agents and who have years of experience, this really will be the place to come to gain a real insight into the world of performing arts.

The course is run on Milton Keynes Tues-Thurs and we can accommodate you if you are travelling from afar.

This course is run in association with Lead Performing Arts and SCL Education.
