SHOWTIME CIRCUS HERTFORDSHIRE
Here you can find info about all of our classes, camps and events at Showtime Circus Hertfordshire. Classes are held at Roundwood Park School in Harpenden and Hitchin Boys School.
We currently offer regular classes covering general circus skills for children aged 3-16. We also offer specialised classes which focus on a specific skill, for example, advanced acrobatics and advanced aerial.
For those adults out there who think it would be amazing to keep fit while hanging from the ceiling, you’re also catered for in our adult classes.
POPCORNS:
Popcorn classes are our general circus classes for children aged 3-6. In these classes, they will do a fun game and warm up and then learn skills such as: aerial hoop and silks, acrobatics, juggling, hula hoop, poi, diabolo, flowersticks, stiltwalking and rolla bolla.
BIG TOPS:
Big Top classes are our general circus classes for children aged 6-10. In these classes, they will do a fun game and warm up and then learn skills such as: aerial hoop and silks, acrobatics, juggling, hula hoop, poi, diabolo, flowersticks, stiltwalking and rolla bolla.
HIGH FLYERS:
High Flyers classes are our general circus classes for children aged 10+. In these classes, they will do a fun game and warm up and then learn skills such as: aerial hoop and silks, acrobatics, juggling, hula hoop, poi, diabolo, flowersticks, stiltwalking and rolla bolla.
ACROBATICS:
In Acrobatics classes we add to what we already learn in our circus classes, and concentrate on forwards and backwards rolls, cartwheels and aerials, walkovers and back handsprings. We also stretch and strengthen in these classes too.
AERIAL:
Our aerial classes are by ability and the children are encouraged to progress their skill set and work through our trackers. We learn aerial hoop, silks and trapeze and also work on our flexibility and strength too.
ADULTS CLASSES:
Get fit in a fun way by learning aerial hoop, silks and trapeze, we do a cardio warm up and stretches and then concentrate on learning awesome moves in the air.
SUMMER CAMPS:
We run Holiday Camps in both venues and these are days that are JAM PACKED full of circus fun! The children learn a HUGE RANGE of circus activities for aerial hoop and silks to juggling, acrobatics and more!
WORKSHOPS:
We can bring our mobile equipment to YOU so that your school can experience the JOY of circus. We can create bespoke themes for workshops, include a show with our professional instructors and more!
BIRTHDAY PARTIES:
We are able to host birthday parties at both our venues in Hertfordshire, Roundwood Park School and Hitchin Boys School, we are also able to come to you with our mobile equipment! Come and experience all of the joy of circus and have the most FUN birthday party EVER! 2 hours jam packed full of circus fun!
