Circus Camp
Thank you so much for booking your child into our first ever holiday camp in Hitchin, we are SO excited to meet new members of the Showtime Circus Family! This welcome pack will hopefully answer any of your questions, but please do not hesitate to email if you have any further questions too! Our classes are jam packed full of fun, and there are a wide range of skills to be learnt.
Your camp circus leader in Hitchin is Naomi Noir on Wednesday and Jess on Thursday and Friday with the wonderful Charlie assisting.

We are at:
Hitchin Boys School, building number 3 in the image.

There is parking at the venue.

Social Media:
If you do not wish for pictures/videos of your child to be put on Social media, PLEASE make this clear to the teacher upon drop off if you haven't already stated it on booking.
You can follow Showtime Circus Hertfordshire on Insta and Facebook to see what they get up to, and you are welcome to join our Band app too to be able to communicate directly with teachers: https://band.us/n/ada806Ka49p5V

Please dress your child in clothing suitable for moving in! We always say a t-shirt long enough to tuck in as we will be upside down for LOTS of the class or a leotard! Long sleeves and leggings are better.
Please keep the belongings you bring with you to a minimum, however, if the children are a little anxious/worried then they are absolutely welcome to bring a soft toy with them that reminds them of home so that they feel comfortable.
Pack a reusable water bottle as the children will need to be hydrated and well energised!

We are a NUT FREE ZONE due to allergies - and though there are none booked on this week, please be mindful anyway. Please pack some nutritious snacks and lunch, with a refillable water bottle.

Important Dates
Friday Showcase:
There will be a VERY informal showcase at 3:30pm on the Friday where parents are welcome to come in and watch what the children have been up to all week! Please do come along and support!

AERIAL HOOP/SILKS
The beautiful art of forming shapes with your body, while suspended from height, either on a hoop, rope, or silks.
ACROBATICS
The performance of extraordinary human feats of balance, agility and motor co-ordination.
JUGGLING
An amazing skill which uses advanced hand-eye co-ordination.
It is scientifically proven that circus skills can greatly assist in the development of children’s brains, as well aiding in the growth in communication and social skills.
