SILLY SLITHERIN (MISS MEL)
I have worked with Miss Jess for many years and we are a great team! Coming from a ballet background, my teaching style has a lot of emphasis on classical lines. This helps even in a circus class as it helps you look even prettier as you execute difficult moves.
Melanie trained from a young age at the Old Bakehouse Dance Studios continuing her training at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts on a Music and Ballet Scheme Scholarship, graduating in July 2007 with distinction.
Credits include: Stabat Mater, Linbury Theatre Covent Garden, English Bach Festival Trust, Vienna Festival Ballet Principal Ballerina in The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Coppelia and Cinderella. Melanie is the Principle of Kent Youth Dance Company and has choreographed many pieces and performed principle roles for the company. She now teaches at The Arts, Education School Tring, so we are very lucky to have her as part of the team!
